Yankee Springs Golf Course consists of 27 challenging but playable holes of golf nestled on 200 acres of pristine land with tees from 5200 to 6373 yards. All 27 holes are tree lined with manicured greens to ensure the best putting surfaces in the area. Yankee Springs Golf Course offers an all-grass practice range, a practice putting green, a full service golf shop and an excellent restaurant and bar.
Founded by Frank Tichvon in 1963, Yankee Springs Golf Course has long been known for one of the best values in golf for years. Franks family is continuing his long time vision by offering a quality golf course for everyone to enjoy. Come see what people have known for years, the fun golf and great food at Yankee Springs!
A Little Bit of Course History
In 1963, a gentleman by the name of Frank Tichvon felt the Gun Lake area needed a golf course. Without ever having played the game, he turned his farm land into Yankee Springs Golf Course, one of the most beautifully designed 9-hole courses you can imagine.
In 1969, Frank felt that he needed to expand. The original nine was made into an 18-holes and then again by demand in 1987, he added an additional nine holes.
Today, Yankee Springs Golf Course offers you a quality 27 hole golf course for you to enjoy. It is our on-going goal to offer the best-kept golf course and restaurant for your enjoyment.
Yankee Springs takes great pride in the numerous comments received each season regarding the immaculate condition of the golf course. After your time on the course, come visit in the restaurant/lounge to discuss "the best round ever" over your favorite beverage.
Frank passed away in December 2008 at the age of 89, but be sure to give your regards to him during your visit as we are positive that his spirit lives on, keeping watch over his life-long project!
